We’re an established Perth video content production house, only employing the very best in the industry to ensure your project is in the hands of skilled professionals. Our Perth video production team works with you to bring your idea or concept to life; from corporate videos, and event filming to drone videography and motion graphics. Our passionate team works collaboratively with you from the get-go, to produce relevant, creative and original content.
We believe in maintaining a balance between creative, marketing and problem-solving. Therefore, we partner with local advertising agency Adzoo Consultancy to ensure our ideas align with current market trends in Perth. Our shared office space in West Perth allows for collaboration on projects, as well as create an open and transparent space for communication between ourselves and our clients.
Fresh thinking, enthusiastic and innovative Jarrod has honed his experience over the past 25 years on both client and agency side across the media landscape through advertising, marketing and more recently television and content production.
In 2015 he co-founded Nocturnal House Productions specialising in factual television content development, commercial television production and online content story telling.
Neil has a broad range of creative/art direction in television gained through 30+ years’ experience in the UK, Middle East and Perth. Working closely with our content writer, Neil manages all creative development of ideas, storyboards and concepts for Nocturnal House as part of our pre-production process.
Neil also works closely on-set when required as a Director/Producer and is involved in the postproduction editing of all Nocturnal House projects working closely with our post-production team.
Gavin has over 20 years experience in the advertising industry and now manages all post production requirements for Nocturnal House. As a result, his workload includes editing, graphics, animation and audio post.
He has a comprehensive and diverse credit list working across many genres of video production from TV, corporate videos, high-end commercials, to 2D & 3D content.
Award-winning journalist Cassie Silver has spent almost a decade establishing herself in the media industry working in print, television and online. Known for her professionalism, integrity and charisma, she carries a diverse skillset as a writer, producer and presenter. She spent almost eight years with Seven West Media as a television reporter with the county’s highest rating current affairs program, Today Tonight. Her flair for writing has seen her work published in the West Australian and Sunday Times, as well as many online news outlets. Her experience as a journalist has taken her around the world and her dedication to the job is matched only by her energy and enthusiasm.
Nigel has over 25 years in the film and television industry.
He has worked on numerous television commercials and feature films, including Red Dog True Blue, Son of a Gun, Red Dog and Drift.
Nigel has worked as a Director of Photography on award winning TVC’s and has numerous documentary broadcast credits, including more recently Secrets of Our Cities (SBS), Is Australia Racist (SBS) and Shark Bite Club (part of Great Australian Bites series for Discovery).
Nigel enjoys the challenges each project offers, the opportunity to adapt and refine techniques and keep up to date with the latest in digital acquisition.

Coming from a background of photography and design, Dan’s work is known for its vibrant cinematic style. With a reputation as a ‘drone guru’, Dan loves to use light & camera movement to bring beautiful images to any production.
Dan has worked with commercial clients Tourism WA, KIA, Chevron & Ford, as well as documentary productions ‘Outback’ and ‘Magical Land of Oz’, bringing striking visuals with the combined skill set of aerial and on the ground cinematography.
Dom is a seasoned and well experienced factual documentary editor. With a number of broadcast credits to his name, Dom has worked with distributors and broadcasters including Netflix, Cineflix Rights and ABC Commercial to name a few.
His ability to tell a story through pictures is second to none, and will oversee the series editing, post production and distribution delivery requirements of The Travelling Photographer.
Tim Count founded MDS post-production studio in 2003 and joins the Nocturnal House Team as our Post Production Audio Director for The Travelling Photographer.
An industry veteran, Tim has worked on a number of feature and short films, documentaries and television series for clients such as the BBC, Discovery Channel and National Geographic.
A three time winner of the Upson Medal for Sound and in 2015 was nominated for best music in a documentary at the 2015 Australian Screen Music Awards. Recent titles include score and sound design for four x 1 hour documentaries (End of Empire) for Foxtel History Channel and 4 x 30 minute documentary series (Turning Point) to be released in late 2018.
