Nocturnal House Productions is a boutique TV production company comprising of a team of talented and experienced individuals. As a well known Perth video content production house,  we only employ the very best for your project from camera man to producers and so on.  Our Perth Video production team can do everything from Corporate videos to Drone Video’s to simply engaging content.

Nocturnal House believe in maintaining a balance between creative, marketing and problem-solving. Hence, combining quality ideas with a clear understanding and response to Perth clients is our aim.  That is why we partner with local advertising agency adzoo consultancy. Our shared office space in West Perth allows us to easily collaborate on projects. As well as that whatever member of the team you need to speak with is most likely on hand. As a result, we are a one stop shop!

Jarrod Greenwood

Managing Director/Executive Producer

Fresh thinking, enthusiastic and innovative Jarrod has honed his experience over the past 25 years on both client and agency side across the media landscape through advertising, marketing and more recently television and content production.

In 2015 he co-founded Nocturnal House Productions specialising in factual television content development, commercial television production and online content story telling.

Neil Holmes

Creative Director/Producer

Neil has a broad range of creative/art direction in television gained through 30+ years’ experience in the UK, Middle East and Perth. Working closely with our content writer, Neil manages all creative development of ideas, storyboards and concepts for Nocturnal House as part of our pre-production process.

Neil also works closely on-set when required as a Director/Producer and is involved in the postproduction editing of all Nocturnal House projects working closely with our post-production team.

Cassie Silver

Series Producer/Writer

Award-winning journalist Cassie Silver has spent almost a decade establishing herself in the media industry working in print, television and online.

She’s spent the last seven years with Seven West Media as a television reporter with the country’s highest rating current affairs program Today Tonight. Her flair for writing has seen her work published in The West Australian and Sunday Times as well as many online outlets. Her experience as a television reporter, has taken her around the world and her dedication to the job is matched only by her energy and enthusiasm.

Cassie joins Nocturnal House as Series Producer and writer for our latest factual tv series The Travelling Photographer.

Gavin Upham-Hill

Post Production Editor

Gavin has over 20 years experience in the advertising industry and now manages all post production requirements for Nocturnal House. As a result, his workload includes editing, graphics, animation and audio post.

He has a comprehensive and diverse credit list working across many genres of video production from TV, corporate videos, high-end commercials, to 2D & 3D content.

Tim Count

Series Post Production Audio – The Travelling Photographer

Tim Count founded MDS post-production studio in 2003 and joins the Nocturnal House Team as our Post Production Audio Director for The Travelling Photographer.

An industry veteran, Tim has worked on a number of feature and short films, documentaries and television series for clients such as the BBC, Discovery Channel and National Geographic.

A three time winner of the Upson Medal for Sound and in 2015 was nominated for best music in a documentary at the 2015 Australian Screen Music Awards. Recent titles include score and sound design for four x 1 hour documentaries (End of Empire) for Foxtel History Channel and 4 x 30 minute documentary series (Turning Point) to be released in late 2018.

Nigel Tomkinson

Series Director of Photography – The Travelling Photographer

Nigel has over 25 years in the film and television industry.

He has worked on numerous television commercials and feature films, including Red Dog True Blue, Son of a Gun, Red Dog and Drift.

Nigel has worked as a Director of Photography on award winning TVC’s and has numerous documentary broadcast credits, including more recently Secrets of Our Cities (SBS), Is Australia Racist (SBS) and Shark Bite Club (part of Great Australian Bites series for Discovery).

Nigel enjoys the challenges each project offers, the opportunity to adapt and refine techniques and keep up to date with the latest in digital acquisition.

The extremes in location, the people you meet and the experiences along the way are all part of the journey.

Olivia Balsinger

Series Researcher/Writer – The Travelling Photographer

Fuelled by passion, integrity and adventure, Olivia has used her global perspective to build a successful career as a travel and broadcast journalist.

Based in New York, Olivia spends the majority of her time travelling and to date explored over 94 countries in her career. A journalism an economics graduate with a Harvard International Relations post-certificate, Olivia knows the right questions to garner local recommendations and insights wherever she travels.

Olivia has been published in multiple international print and online channels for travel and lifestyle, as named InterContinental Groups’ Latin America ‘Journalist of the Year’ in 2017 and has been a panellist and  host for major travel conferences like New York Travfest and SoHo House’s “Millennial Mindset:Travel”.

Olivia brings her global expertise, spirit of discovery and ravenous enthusiasm for storytelling to The Travelling Photographer.

Dom Giorgi

Series Editor/Post Production Supervisor- The Travelling Photographer

Dom is a seasoned and well experienced factual documentary editor. With a number of broadcast credits to his name, Dom has worked with distributors and broadcasters including Netflix, Cineflix Rights and ABC Commercial to name a few.

His ability to tell a story through pictures is second to none, and will oversee the series editing, post production and distribution delivery requirements of The Travelling Photographer.
